The new station has six tracks and three railway platforms. In addition, the project includes service buildings, roads, parking and areas surrounding the station.
The Follo line is the innermost part of the Intercity development south-east of Oslo. Multiconsult, together with Aas-Jakobsen and Amberg, has been central in planning of the Follo line project.
