Subsidiaries

The Multiconsult family keeps on growing. The group includes the following subsidiaries: Multiconsult Asia, Multiconsult UK, Multiconsult Polska, and LINK arkitektur AS. In addition, Multiconsult has ownership interests in Norplan Tanzania Ltd.

Multiconsult Norge AS

The company is the Norwegian consulting company in the group, and is among the leaders in the industry in Norway. Multiconsult Norge AS has around 2100 employees located all over the country. The employees have extensive experience and solid expertise in multidisciplinary consulting, design, project follow-up, management, verification and control, and deliver a number of services distributed in the market areas Building & Properties, Cities & Society, Renewable Energy, Geo, Industry, Oil & Gas, Transportation and Water & Environment.

For several years in a row, Multiconsult Norge AS has been named one of Norway’s most attractive workplaces among technologists – both students and experienced.

Multiconsult Polska

Multiconsult Polska, formerly Atkins’ Polish subsidiary, became part of Multiconsult in 2014. The company’s main office is located in Warsaw with other offices in Kraków, Gdańsk, Wrocław and Gliwice and other project offices throughout Poland.

Multiconsult Polska has a highly competent team of around 280 employees delivering special expertise in the market areas of transportation and infrastructure, construction, environment, and oil and gas. It is a well established consultancy with a solid portfolio of projects and long customer relationships. The company’s expertise is complementary to the Norwegian academic environments.

Multiconsult UK Ltd.

For many years, Multiconsult has occupied a strong position in the international market for hydroelectric power stations. In December 2012, it further strengthened this position by establishing the subsidiary Multiconsult UK Ltd. (formerly Norplan Hydropower Ltd) in the UK.

Multiconsult UK Ltd. was established after 20 experienced hydropower engineers were transferred from the multinational URS to Multiconsult. Many of Multiconsult UK Ltd.’s employees have more than 30 years’ experience of international hydropower projects, and they know Multiconsult well as a result of having worked with the company on projects in the past.

Multiconsult Asia

In March 2013, Multiconsult established a separate subsidiary in Singapore. Multiconsult has had major assignments in Singapore in recent years, especially within oil and gas, and renewable energy. With the establishment of Multiconsult Asia, Multiconsult is the first Norwegian consulting engineering company with a permanent establishment in Southeast Asia.

LINK arkitektur AS

LINK is one of the leading architect offices in Scandinavia, with a pan-Nordic presence in major cities and regions in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The company has a strong track record on returns, driven by steady growth on the basis of a solid financial position. Around 470 employees are working in LINK arkitketur AS.

Multiconsult acquired the remaining shares in the architecture office in 2015, after having been the largest owner since 2008.

Iterio AB

The Swedish Consultancy Company Iterio AB became a part of the Multiconsult group in 2017. Iterio is a social planning and construction consultancy company and works primarily with project management, project planning and data coordination. Its specialists work within all phases of geotechnology, environment and traffic. Iterio was founded in 2011 and has 80 employees today with offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö.

Norplan Tanzania Ltd., Tanzania

Multiconsult is a shareholder in Norplan Tanzania Ltd (49 per cent). Norplan Tanzania was registered as a company in 2005, and has extensive experience of providing consulting services to the Tanzanian and South African markets. The company offers interdisciplinary engineering services in a wide range of areas. These include motorways and transport engineering, water and sanitation, bridges and structural engineering and energy and building services.
