The framework agreement has a duration of two years with option of extensions periods for 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 years. The agreement is granted to Multiconsult as one of two consultancy engineering companies. The effective start date is November 2020.

“The award of this framework agreement confirms Multiconsult’s strong competence and experience in multidisciplinary engineering of substations, and is a result of our long-term dedication and work”, says Tom Ødegaard, Vice President Renewable Energy in Multiconsult.

The development of tools, solutions, new technology and forms of collaboration is a central part of the framework agreement. This will be important deliveries for Multiconsult’s organization over the next two to six years. Multiconsult is one of very few professional environments in Norway with the necessary expertise for designing the substations of the future. In the framework agreement, Multiconsult builds on long experience from previous Statnett framework agreements. At the same time, Multiconsult will draw on experiences and competence from other parts of the company’s engineering environment.
