Multiconsult was responsible for the civil engineering design of the concrete structures and the underground services at Aker Clean Carbon test facility site for CO2 capture. Multiconsult worked together with the EPC-contractor Aker Solutions Port Solent (England) to deliver the complex detailed engineering design.
Concrete structures comprise; foundations for pipe racks/mechanical equipment and a 63 m high ”absorber tower”.
Underground installations comprise; systems for freshwater and drainage systems for contaminated water.
