– The long-term market in Southeast Asia is very favorable for renewable energy solutions to meet their growing energy needs. Creation of the branch will better enable Multiconsult to execute its strategy to expand the market for renewable energy and water management services in Southeast Asia, as we continue to build on our competitive strengths as leading renewable energy consultants in the region, said Tom Ødegaard said Multiconsult’s SVP for Sales Renewable Energy.
– We expect Thailand to remain the main hub for the renewable energy market in Southeast Asia due to its strong economic growth and significant cluster of energy resource companies, he says.
Multiconsult has appointed Erik Berger as the Sales Manager. Erik comes from a position as Hydropower Director Asia for Tetra Tech and has a strong background from the Asian hydropower sector. The Key Account Manager is expected to be appointed in Q1 2019. Ms. Lilawan Watchang is appointed as Administrative Manager and will be supporting Erik and the KAM in the agenda to achieve Multiconsults regional expansion targets.
– One of our main goals is to contribute to the sustainable development in Southeast Asia, and we have to date carried out more than 100 energy and water-management related projects across Asia. We take a comprehensive approach to natural resources and create environmentally and socially sustainable energy solutions for the future, Tom said.
