As CSO, Holmås will have the main responsibility for ensuring that the implementation of goals and tasks are in accordance with the sustainability strategy of Multiconsult.
“Holmås has solid expertise within the climate and environmental field and is very committed to the cause. He is without a doubt the right person to further develop the sustainability work at Multiconsult. He will be ensuring further business development within sustainability and strengthening the sustainability work and competence within the organisation, says CEO of Multiconsult,” Grethe Bergly.
In Multiconsult, Holmås has worked with onshore and offshore wind, renewable energy and climate solutions as head of the Wind Power Section in Region Oslo. His background also includes 16 years as part of the Norwegian Parliament and the government. Here he has particularly worked with climate and energy issues. As Minister for International Development, he contributed to the establishment of the UN Global Sustainability Goals. He had a central position in the UN Secretary – General’s initiative to include energy as a sustainability goal.

Our advice is of great importance to the climate and sustainability aspect of the many thousands projects we are involved in. Every ton counts in order to stop the most dangerous climate changes. I find it very meaningful to help put in place future solutions in everything we do,” says Heikki Eidsvoll Holmås.
Holmås is appointed CSO for Multiconsult Norge AS and will coordinate the sustainability work with the other subsidiaries in the group. Holmås starts as CSO on 1st April.
As part of the appointment of the CSO, a team will be established, consisting of key resources in the organization with competence and experience in various parts of the sustainability field. The team will, among others, support the CSO in achieving Multiconsult’s climate and environmental goals. On goal is for the company to become climate neutral by 2030 at the latest.
