Schjølberg has shown great commitment to the RIF and to consulting engineers for many years, and was presented with the award for her long and solid experience in transport and strategy as well as her ability to lead good processes.
She has also played a key role in developing the RIF’s transport forum and the place of women in the association. In addition, Schjølberg has been very involved in Multiconsult and has played a key role, for example, in building up its expertise networks.
I would particularly highlight her ability to think ‘outside the box’, to see the overall picture and new connections, and not least to dare to challenge established truths, said Liv Kari Skudal Hansteen, chief executive of the RIF.
Although Schjølberg’s background is in transport, she is also deeply involved with women’s issues and has established an informal cross-company arena where females of all ages can reflect on their own role.
In addition to the communication forum, she is contributing to the integration group ahead of the State of the Nation launch in 2015.
