The technology centre will be developed for Siva, Unitech Energy Group and Los-Elektro, while Vestland County Municipality will run the vocational school. Veidekke was awarded the contract together with Holon architecture and Multiconsult this summer, and planning of the project has commenced.
– This is a very exciting and innovative project, which will help shape aquaculture, offshore wind and the maritime industry in the future. We have worked with a number of projects in these industries, and combined with good knowledge and experience with school and commercial buildings, we will use our technical expertise to create a unique building, says Erlend Kent, department manager for Multiconsult Stord.
The construction cost is estimated at just over NOK 200 million, and the building with 8000 m2 is planned finished in the spring of 2022.
