Celebrating the opening of our Kenya office

Three months after moving into prestigious new office premises at Kilimani district, consulting engineering firm Multiconsult welcomed other professional businesses from across the East-African region to an exclusive reception to officially launch the new office. More than 50 people dropped in throughout the evening to chat to colleagues and friends while enjoying a drink and canapés.

Global climate and environmental challenges require restructuring our society in which growth and development take place within nature’s tolerance limits.  One of our goals with the establishment in Kenya is to contribute to this transformation and to the sustainable development in Kenya and in the East-African region. We have to date carried out more than 300 hydropower and energy-related projects across Africa and as one of the leading engineering consultants in the region, we are dedicated in our efforts to secure renewable and clean energy and to pull our share of the global green shift – said Helge E. Jenssen, Senior Vice President Renewable Energy

Honorary guest the Norwegian Ambassador to Kenya Mr Victor Rønneberg, said “I believe it is important to build close relationships between Norwegian and Kenyan companies to secure sustainable development and mutual benefits. I am therefore delighted to see a large Norwegian company such as Multiconsult establishing an office here in Kenya.“

“I would like to thank everyone who attended to help make the event such a success, said Mikael Poulsen, Regional Manager of Multiconsult Kenya. The attendance and support for the event is fantastic and the feedback from everyone is really positive.
