The Gulpur Hydropower Project is a 102 MW run-of-river hydropower plant, comprising:
- 66.6 metre high, 205 metre long concrete gravity dam
- 2 x 150 metre long, 5.0 metre diameter power tunnels
- Generation flow 201 m3/sec
- 2 x 51 MW Francis type units
- 132 kV Switchgear
Scope of work
Multiconsult is acting as the Independent Engineer for Re-Opener Verifier role in partnership with Associated Consulting Enigneers of Pakistan; monitoring of construction progress; witnessing of commissioning and the certification of the complex for commercial operation.
