Multiconsult assessed the technical condition of 7 small-scale hydropower plants with estimated total production of 65 GWh by reviewing owner’s documentation and inspecting the plants. The aim was to provide neutral guidance to potential buyers on the CAPEX/OPEX estimates as well as expected production.
Scope of work
Multiconsult’s tasks included review of past production and guidance for future long-term production estimates; review of technical condition at existing assets; risk analysis and guidance for 40-year CAPEX/OPEX estimates at all power plants.
In this assignment, Multiconsult’s economists and engineers worked together with advisors from SpareBank 1 Markets.
