HVAC:
Oil and gas processing plants often utilize or produce a wide range of hazardous toxic and combustible gases. Depletion of oxygen by accumulated non-toxic gases can also cause a hazardous condition to personnel. Safety is the most important factor when commencing the HVAC engineering for an offshore or onshore facility. Important HVAC design objectives are maintaining pressurization between hazardous and non-hazardous areas, dilution/removal of potential hazardous/flammable/toxic gases, maintaining temperature and humidity appropriate to operating requirements and filtration of dust, odour, etc., all performed according to relevant codes and standards. Multiconsult HVAC engineers have designed according to NORSOK and other relevant codes and standards for decades and have extensive experience in performing reliable engineering according to these objectives. Good knowledge of control philosophy is also vital for HVAC oil and gas engineers, Multiconsult have the required expertise and experience also within this area.
