The main parts of the project are a pumping station basin covering an area of 13,000 m2, an intake culvert structure, approx. 1000 m long, and an outlet culvert approx. 400 m long. The cross section of the culverts is 13 x 5 m.
Two 120 m long culvert elements will be constructed in a dry dock in Busher, towed to Asaluyeh and installed on the seabed at 20 – 40 m depth. The remaining part of the culvert was prefabricated in 25 meter long sections, transported by barge to site and lifted into position by a crane barge.
