In conjunction with the development of a new underground car park in Aksla, Multiconsult has been inspecting buildings and assessing damage arising from the site work and blasting activities.
600-700 properties were inspected, including flats, commercial buildings, schools, cultural centres and hotels, many of which were protected or listed. During the inspections, information was also collected to help set ground vibration limits, and to report on any critical structures.
Scope of work
A video camera was used during inspections, and recordings were logged and saved on a local secure server. Damage is being continuously assessed, as and when it is reported.
