Nominated for framework agreement for environmental advisory services (R01781) by The Norwegian Defence Estates Agency

Multiconsult Norge AS has been nominated for the framework agreement R01781 – environmental advisory services by the Norwegian Defence Estates Agency (NDEA) (Forsvarsbygg). The total estimated value of the agreement is NOK 200 million excluding VAT, with a duration of five years.

 

The framework agreement covers a wide range of environmental advisory services across Norway, supporting Forsvarsbygg’s efforts to ensure sustainable and responsible management of defence-related properties and activities.

The scope of services includes:

  • Environmental site investigations and risk assessments onshore and offshore
  • Development of action plans and mitigation measures related to environmental conditions
  • Mapping and planning for environmental remediation, including reuse and disposal of construction and demolition waste
  • Engineering design and preparation of tender documents, including environmental sections and SHA (Safety, Health and Working Environment) planning
  • Mapping and remediation of areas contaminated with PFAS (persistent chemicals)
  • Environmental advisory services in shooting ranges, training areas, mountain facilities, and radio relay stations
  • Mapping and removal of landfills and waste deposits
  • Energy consulting/advisory including energy labelling of properties, buildings and constructions

Multiconsult is nominated as the primary (A-level) supplier and is expected to deliver services nationwide through its extensive network of offices. The agreement will be executed through direct call-offs and mini-competitions, depending on project size and complexity.

Multiconsult has provided environmental services to NDEA for the last 12 years under different frame agreements. This nomination further strengthens Multiconsult’s position as a leading provider of multidisciplinary consulting services to the Norwegian defence sector and builds on Multiconsult’s existing portfolio of framework agreements with NDEA.

The nomination is subject to a standstill period (NO: karenstid), which expires on 13 October 2025.
