Eli Grøttheim

A true enthusiast

Eli has worked at Multiconsult since 1969. Early on, she knew that she wanted to restore old buildings, which was unusual for engineers of the 1970s and 1980s. Multiconsult gave her the opportunities to develop this field. Thanks to her own interest, support from Multiconsult in her studies, and the development of networks, she created the platform for one of our brands – building management.

For the last 20 years, Eli has been a project planning manager for major restoration projects. In conjunction with the 200th anniversary of the Norwegian Constitution, Statsbygg is working with its partners to restore the Eidsvoll building to how it looked in 1814. Eli is the project planning manager and works closely with art historians, conservationists, archaeologists, architects and technical advisers. This is an extensive project that demands historical insight and civil engineering expertise, which Eli has in abundance.

Eli is a goal-driven enthusiast who lives for preservation. This is evident in her work as a project planning manager in which she motivates the project teams with her enthusiasm. By working as a civil engineering consultant in reconstruction and restoration, she has gained extensive expertise in projects relating to protected and listed buildings.
