In 2006 Elkem Solar entered into separate contracts with two EPCM contractors for realization of the new factory.
BIS Production Partner, in alliance with Multiconsult and Grenland Group, entered into the EPCM contract for the Leaching Unit of the new factory.
Scope of work
The SOW for the alliance was to perform Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) services in order to provide a mechanical complete LEACHING PLANT.
Multiconsults work has included engineering of all civil disciplines, HVAC and electro. The work has comprised basic, detail and follow-on engineering, construction management and project management.
