Norén leaves his position as VP Hydropower international operations in Norconsult. He has extensive experience in international hydropower, both in marketing, sales and implementation of projects. Norén holds a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from NTNU (Norwegian University of Science Technology) and Bachelor in Business Administration and an MBA program in Energy Economics and Business Administration from BI (Norwegian Business School).
Knut Erling Norén was appointed after a thorough process and in competition with many exciting candidates who were in the process.

Well integrated into Multiconsult ASA
When Norén later this fall moves to Kent in England, he will meet an environment that has gradually become an integrated part of Multiconsult ASA. The outgoing CEO, Peter Illes, has much of the credit for this.
