“Multiconsult are proud to have designed the new financial services building in the Jonsvoll quarter. It was an exciting project, and we are now proud to hand it over to Sparebanken Vest,” says Terje Vik, Multiconsult’s project manager.
The 20,000 m2 building will, amongst other things, house the bank’s headquarters.
Up to 750 people will work in this modern building that combines a sound design and structure with innovation and attention to detail.
“The Jonsvoll quarter has been a particularly exciting, challenging and educational project for Multiconsult. The building has a high floor area ratio and is highly tailored to the site, which made it challenging for the building services engineers to come up with a suitable design for the services. Good collaboration between the various disciplines made it possible to overcome these challenges, and the final outcome is a great building,” says Espen Ellefsen, one of the lead engineers at Multiconsult.
Multiconsult did all of the detail design work and supervision during the construction phase. The project was managed as a design and build contract.
